Titwala:

Titwala is situated in Thane District. The Temples of Lord Ganesh & Shri Vithoba are situated here. Temple of Mahaganapati is on the bank of river Kalu. Chimaji Appa built this temple after the conquest of Vasai fort.
 

Titwala has become a popular pilgrimage spot not only because of Lord Ganesha but also because of its easy accessiblity as it situated very near to Mumbai.
